1. Definition detection

Automatically detect the image blur of the main part of the field of view caused by improper focus, lens damage or foreign object occlusion in the video; automatically detect the situation where the lens is aimed at meaningless objects. This function evaluates the picture clarity and information content of the real-time video (such as accidental obscuration by foreign objects, artificial blindness, etc.), so as to find faults in time. As an extension of this function in the field of perimeter prevention technology, "sudden change" has been generally recognized by people.

2. Video interference detection

Automatic detection of noise phenomena such as blur, distortion, snowflakes, shaking or scrolling in the video image. The main monitoring objects are dots, thorns, and bands of interference that appear on the video screen due to line aging, transmission failure, poor contact, or electromagnetic interference. Due to the various forms of malfunction of the interference camera, in the video quality diagnosis system, the band-shaped, net-shaped and periodic interference is monitored by the "noise" detection item, and the dot-shaped and thorn-shaped random interference are intersected. It is monitored by "snowflakes" detection items to improve the accuracy of diagnosis.

3. Abnormal brightness detection

Automatically detect the dark, bright or black screen caused by camera failure, gain control disorder, abnormal lighting conditions, or malicious occlusion in the video. This function will diagnose the brightness of the video. Since the diagnosis plan and monitoring threshold can be changed at different times, the detection of abnormal brightness can be effective both day and night.

4. Color cast detection

Automatically detect the color cast phenomenon caused by poor line contact, external interference or camera failure, mainly including full-screen single color cast or banded color cast with mixed colors. This function analyzes the color information of the video. Its characteristic is that when the rich colors appear in the video, it can distinguish whether they are brought by the natural scene or caused by the camera's own failure, so that the color cast detection of the camera can be practical.

5. PTZ (pan-tilt) control function diagnosis

Automatically detect whether the front-end pan/tilt and lens can move correctly according to user instructions, for example, left turn failure, upside down, etc. This function can automatically test each instruction of PTZ, so that managers can accurately and timely grasp the operation of PTZ in the system. However, this function requires the system to have the authority to control the front-end PTZ.

6. Video freeze detection

Automatically detect the freezing of video images caused by the failure of the video transmission scheduling system, which can avoid the omission of real live video images.

7. Video missing detection

Automatic detection of intermittent or continuous video loss caused by abnormal operation, damage, man-made malicious damage or video transmission link failure of front-end PTZ and camera.
